International Trade Shows are back in full swing for all industries – this year we have attended many of the major European travel and Meetings shows.
However, it did occur to us that although we market our attendance through Linked-in posts, not many people may actually know what we discover at these events!
In November we attended the IBTM (Incentives, Business Travel, Meetings) show in Barcelona. The event is at the Fira Exhibition Halls and has over 3000 global destinations and experiences with over 15,000 attendees from around the world.
Incentive activities included pirate ships battling it out with water cannons off the coast of Malta, motor-boating on Lake Garda, wine tasting tours in the Basque country and a gourmet street food experience in Singapore.
International hotels are also present: everything from a 4-star boutique hotel in the vineyards of the Rhine to 5-star hotels at the foot of the Andes in Chile – imagine swimming in a pool in glorious sunshine while looking at the snow-capped mountains.
